Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) celebrated its 9th charter day anniversary with the theme “One University in the Pursuit of Excellence.“ at Hinunangan Campus, March 7, 2013.
SLSU is composed of five campuses namely, Tomas Oppus Campus, Bontoc Campus, Sogod – Main Campus, San Juan Campus and Hinunangan Campus.

Reaping awards, Sogod Main Campus bested all other campuses of SLSU on the competitions done during the 9th Charter Day Anniversary of Southern Leyte State University (SLSU), at Hinunangan Campus, Hinunangan, Southern Leyte, on March 7, 2013.
In a number where dancing and singing are combined, Sogod did not fail to showcase what they’ve got. With their innate vocal prowess, synchronized moves and properly arranged songs, Sogod did entertain the crowd and caught the judges’ attention, thus got the highest ratings, making them champion.

Who said competitions are only for students? Well, the faculty & staff of Southern Leyte State University-Main will prove them wrong.
Select faculty & staff will represent the campus in sayawit competition for the 9th Southern Leyte State University charter celebration at SLSU-Hinunangan Campus, March 7, 2013. The group is under the supervision of Dr. Annabelle M. Hufalar, Dean of under graduate studies. The pool of trainors consists of Mr. Gilbert Siega & Mr. Rene Radaza, both are instructor of CSIT Department.
